We are a community following Jesus Christ, and we are committed to:

Encouraging every person to use his/her gifts/talents to Serve Christ,

Building up one another through Worship, Fellowship, and Caring Relationships,

and Reaching Out through Evangelism and Discipleship.

Serve: We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, and the way in which Jesus Christ exercises His lordship over humanity is by taking on the nature of a servant, and by giving away his life on the cross (Philippians 2:5-11, Mark 10:45, John 13:14). As Jesus' disciples we believe that following Him in the world means being a servant, and so, we seek to be a community that embodies the atmosphere of humble, life-giving, service.

Build Up: We believe that after Jesus rose from the dead He commissioned His disciples to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to do everything I have commanded you to do." To be baptized into the name of the Triune God means to be immersed in the very life of the Triune God. To be taught to do everything that Jesus commanded is to hear what Jesus says through the Bible, and then put what He says into practice in our daily lives. Baptism and Teaching, this is what happens when we gather together to in Jesus' name. We seek to be a community immersed in the life of the Triune God, and we seek to be a people who put into practice what Jesus commands.

Reach Out: "The time is fulfilled, the Kingdom of God has come near, repent and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:15)  We believe that when Jesus entered into history as the only begotten Son of God, a new era for humanity was born. We believe that in and through Jesus, the Kingdom of God has come near, heaven is breaking into our world, the kingdom of light is shining into the kingdom of darkness. In and through Jesus we see relationships being restored, we see broken lives being made whole, we see people being set free from addictions and destructive lifestyles, we see sin being forgiven, and we see lives being transformed.   Jesus and His message are Good News (gospel) for all, and the way to enter into the Kingdom of God is to 'repent', which simply means, to 'turn around,' or 'to change one's mind' and to turn to Him. We seek to be a community that reaches out to our neighbours and friends in words and in deeds so that all might experience the love of the Father, and come under the reign and rule of the Son, in the power of the Spirit.
