At Lakefield Baptist Church we desire to support and encourage all women. The women have a decades long history of supporting local and global mission work. Some of the women can remember knitting socks for the soldiers who fought in the Great Wars while others have memories of making fleece hats and mitts for Brock Street Mission and Cameron House in Peterborough.  Regardless of the time frame, we are above all else a group of women who care for each other and desire to live out our faith.

The women’s group is a member of the Canadian Baptist Women of Ontario and Quebec (CBWOQ). We support this organization and its ministry through our monthly offering. We participate with other Peterborough area Baptist churches in the Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer and attend the Trent Valley Association women’s meetings. Every year in March we come together with women from the churches in Lakefield to participate in the Women’s Inter-Church Council (WICC) World Day of Prayer.

We offer a variety of activities throughout the year from Mission Circle meetings to dinners and guest speakers.

We have many opportunities for fun and fellowship planned for 2017.  We would love you to join us!
